From there you travel to Gulmarg for some beautiful mountain views along with a gondola ride that your children will enjoy, then to the pine forests and river banks of Pahalgam and then back to Srinagar.

Day 01 :

Arrival in Srinagar

Welcome at Srinagar Airport and transfer to your houseboat in Dal Lake. Relax and later in the evening go for a boat ride in the lake when the sun is going down in the mountain ranges. Overnight stay in a houseboat, Srinagar.

Day 02 :

Srinagar to Gulmarg

After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (1.5 – 2 hours). Drive through the meadows surrounded by snowcapped peaks and then take the gondola ride to Kongdoori for a panoramic view of the Himalayas and also take an optional pony ride in the meadow. Back to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 03 :

Leisure Day in Srinagar

A relaxed day for the family in Srinagar - take a slow shikara ride past the floating vegetable market, let the kids explore the houseboat deck, or simply enjoy a quiet morning by the lake. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 04 :

Srinagar to Pahalgam

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (2 – 2.5 hours). The place is known as "Valley of Shepherds." Proceed to check into your hotel and thereafter visit Betaab Valley which got its name from a famous movie and further visit the Aru Valley which gives the kids an opportunity to relax at the riverside. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 05 :

Leisure Day in Pahalgam (

A day left free for the family - stroll along the Lidder River, let the kids enjoy the open meadows, or simply relax at the hotel and take in the mountain views at your own pace. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 06 :

Pahalgam to Srinagar

Enjoy breakfast at leisure, after which you will travel back to Srinagar. Spend the evening exploring the Mughal Gardens - Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh that are designed along the banks of Dal Lake, allowing the kids ample time to explore. Free evening for the family to do as they wish. Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 07 :

Departure

After a relaxed check-out, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, taking home memories of the Himalayas and quality time with family.
