6 Days Bali Itinerary Covering Ubud, Kuta & Seminyak with SCS Journeys

Bali in Six Days — More Than Enough to Fall in Love

Bali stands first in terms of the world’s most favored places. It is not an entity, but everything that happens at the same time.

The 6 days  Bali itinerary is not a rapid tour. It is a fully planned and thought-out experience of the island rather than an attempt to “see” Bali. You have the shore and the community. The ancient and the active. Laziness of the morning coasts and early 4 AM trip to see a sunrise over the Himalayas of the East.

Your 6 Days Bali Itinerary – Day by Day

Your adventure in Bali begins with your landing. SCS Journeys offers a direct airport service to Kuta without waiting, bargaining, or the hassle of getting to Kuta after a long flight.

The first place to visit is Kuta. It is vibrant, friendly, and instantly provides you with the experience of excellent charm. The first night should be spent walking slowly down the beach at Kuta Beach. You are enjoying the sunset and grabbing some local warung food. Here you will receive your first plate of Nasi Goreng, and allow the magic of Bali to work.

The sunset at Kuta Beach on the first evening of your stay in Bali is one of the finest moments. You will be glad to stay up, even after long hours of the flight journey.

Among the 6 Days Bali Itinerary, it is the first day where Bali breathes you away.

Afternoon competes with you southwards to Uluwatu Temple, crowning a sheer cliff face 70 metres above the Indian Ocean. The background in itself is remarkable. However, when the light settles, the sky turns golden, making you feel amazed.

As the sun sets, the Kecak Fire Dance starts. You will see a group of men in traditional clothes chant the old Ramayana together. It is considered to be one of the most unforgettable cultural experiences.

The third day is deliberately yours- and that is where it hits. A nice schedule creates room for the unforeseen. Kuta provides options in abundance to all types of travellers:

  • Surfers: Kuta Beach offers consistent waves.
  • Shoppers: Kuta Art Market for crafts, batik & jewellery.
  • Adventure Lovers: Tanjung Benoa for jet skiing, parasailing & water sports.

The traditional massages in Bali are not only cheap but also amazing and well worth spending an afternoon.

The scene is totally different today – and so is the atmosphere of the journey.

You drive inland of the coast towards Ubud to see the exciting  Bali Swing. There is nothing below the swing except the thick green forest.  The swing is breathtaking and photogenic.

Then Ubud is the cultural and artistic capital of Bali. There are fewer streets and even more rice fields, and walking in front of the rice fields. There are art galleries, temple courtyards, and, underlying the whole thing.

You can visit the Ubud Market. Explore the Sacred Monkey Forest. Enjoy a typical Balinese dinner.

On the fifth day, you have the opportunity to visit the three iconic Bali places.

You will see Tanah Lot Temple, which is on a rocky offshore Island on the southwest coast of Bali. At low tide, you can walk to the end of the rock. There will be a sacred spring pouring out of the cliff face.

Then there is Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, a silent temple in Lake Bratan. It appears to be a floating temple with a cloud of fog and tropical trees. It is far fresher and cooler here.

The final stop will be the Handara Gate – a high traditional Balinese split gate which is enclosed by low clouds and volcano mountains. The location of one of the most photographed in Bali, and in reality, magnificent.

The last morning always comes too soon within your 6 Days Bali Itinerary.

Have a final leisurely breakfast. Collect whatever you left at the Ubud Market. Use the rest of your time. You can relax in such a place that will creep under your skin. SCS Journeys handles your departure transfer. You will be comfortable, on time, and relaxed.  You have the feeling that the last hours are an extension of the holiday.

Bali passes on the journey to the airport one last time – rice fields, roadside temples, the coastline in the distance. Six days, and the island has succeeded in explaining to you its beaches and its culture, its ancient soul and its dynamic energy. And somehow you only feel like you are halfway there.
