Looking forward to planning your Best of Kashmir Tour package? SCS Journeys presents you with the entire tour around Kashmir – the “Heaven on Earth” in its totality. Your trip starts from Srinagar as you glide through Dal Lake in a shikara and spend a night in a luxurious houseboat. Further, you move on to Sonmarg to enjoy some stunning glacier sightseeing and take a pony ride to Thajiwas, then to Gulmarg to gaze at the snow-covered mountains and take a ride on the gondola, and then to Pahalgam for some more scenic landscapes, back to Srinagar.

Day 01 :

Arrival in Srinagar

On arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be received and taken to your houseboat in Dal Lake. Have dinner and relax for some time before embarking on a journey into the heart of the lake by shikara with a sunset view of mountains. Overnight stay at a houseboat, Srinagar.

Day 02 :

Srinagar to Sonmarg (Day Trip)

Post breakfast drive to Sonmarg (approx. 3 hours), "Meadow of Gold". Enroute enjoy the scenic Sindh river, have an optional pony ride till Thajiwas Glacier. Back to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 03 :

Srinagar to Gulmarg

Post breakfast drive to Gulmarg (approx. 1.5 to 2 hours). Visit the Gondola cable car and travel up to Kongdoori (Apharwat Peak subject to snow conditions). Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 04 :

Gulmarg to Pahalgam

Breakfast over, depart for Pahalgam (3–3.5 hrs away) - "Valley of Shepherds." After check-in at the hotel, visit Betaab Valley named after the movie filmed in it and Aru Valley for some serene views by the riverside. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 05 :

Leisure Day in Pahalgam

A day left free to unwind - stroll along the Lidder River, browse the local market, or simply relax at your hotel and take in the mountain views at your own pace. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 06 :

Pahalgam to Srinagar

Start your day with breakfast, then return to Srinagar. Spend the afternoon walking through the Mughal Gardens - Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh - situated on the banks of Dal Lake. Free evening to explore the market along the boulevard. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 07 :

Departure

Check out, drive to Srinagar airport to proceed to your next destination, carrying back with you the experience of Kashmir's best circuit ever.
